Visitor Parking is located on the Eastern side of the capital grounds, along the capital side of California Avenue between Piedmont Rd. and Kanawha Blvd. Backup Parking is also at a parking garage located on the corner of Greenbrier Street and Piedmont Road (a 5-minute walk to the main capital building).

Please no pets or animals, unless a service/aid animal, as per capital grounds rules.

Schedule:

4 p.m. — HalfTime String Band
5 p.m. — Andrew McKnight and band
Musicians will be joined by speakers throughout the concert:
  • Sid Moye of Mercer County, who's community is facing a potential mountaintop removal mine.
  • Bo Webb of Naoma, W.Va. Bo consistently pressures the WVDEP to enforce regulations at the strip mine coming down on his home.
  • Debbie Jarrell of Rock Creek, W.Va. Debbie has been heavily involved with Pennies of Promise and Marsh Fork Elementary.
