Jimmy Tobias

Honest Appalachia is Aurora Lights’ whistleblower website project.  Jimmy received a B.A. in Urban Studies with honors from the University of Pennsylvania in 2010.  Jimmy is a freelance journalist, and has written for a variety of news organizations including Democracy Now!, Alternet, The Indypendent, Harvard University’s Nieman Watchdog and 34^th Street Magazine. When he’s not working on Honest Appalachia, Jimmy loves to backpack, flyfish and play the banjo.
