Jen Barton

A former English instructor at Virginia Tech, Jen Barton is now working on a Ph.D. in Science and Technology Studies through Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is working with Aurora Lights to develop multi-disciplinary college-level curricula using case studies based in the Coal River Valley. She also works part-time for the Community Foundation of the New River Valley. In her spare time, she plays clawhammer banjo, flatfoots, swing dances, and learns how to call square dances.
